		<description>With reference to your first point, it&#039;s worth noting that paid posts are against the Terms of Service of some of the free blogging platforms - including Wordpress.com. What this means is that they can delete your blog without notice - which is not nice when it happens, as I can attest from personal experience.

I&#039;d fully recommend going the self-hosted route, just for the flexibility it gives you.

As for the rest of your points - spot on, I&#039;d say. Happy blogging.</description>
